Mustard Seed Preschool and Kindergarten is Portland’s premier play-based early learning program focusing on kindergarten readiness and rooted in inclusive, research based curriculum. Conveniently located off of 185th Ave. and Rock Creek Blvd., MSPK has been educating children of the Beaverton, NW Portland, Rock Creek, Tanasbourne, & Bethany communities for over 30 years.

Our Philosophy

We believe children learn by building on the knowledge they already have - primarily exhibited through play. Teachers help children learn by creating a rich environment to explore via exciting educational activities. 

Our Curriculum

At Mustard Seed Preschool and Kindergarten we leverage The Creative Curriculum for Preschool®, an award-winning, research-based curriculum that fully aligns with state early learning standards and national best practices.

We offer a variety of classes for children age 3 - 5 years in both the morning and afternoon.
